HS photo 2020Welcome back to the HS Corner!

As part of our AP Environmental Science class, each of us wrote and illustrated a children's book about an environmental issue we discussed in class. This helped us practice our writing and storytelling skills and also helped us understand how to address environmental issues in a way that a younger audience can both understand and learn from. Most of us had never written children's books before, and we greatly appreciated the opportunity to do so. This assignment was fun!

If you would like to enjoy our children's books in your home, please click the following links to hear us reading our stories aloud!

Emma's book about wildfires.
Isabella's book about population.
Julia's book about plastic pollution in oceans.
Ruth's book about light pollution.
Sarah's book about air pollution.
Sophia's book about pesticide exposure.
Tesch's book about animals.
Vittoria's book about deep sea mining.

Thank you for joining us this week; see you next time!
