Biography

Jennifer, a Registered Nurse, received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She then received her Masters of Education from Loyola University and has received her American Montessori International Primary diploma from Montessori Northwest in Portland, Oregon. Jennifer lives in the Clear Lake area with her husband, Nate, an aerospace engineer at NASA. Together they have two boys, Jackson and Owen. Jackson graduated from St. Catherine’s in 2021 and is currently a student at Texas A&M Galveston. Owen will graduate from St. Catherine’s in 2023. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys being in nature and reading.

Says Jennifer, “The best part about Montessori for me is that it produces an environment that supports the normal growth and development of the child. In today’s society many things thwart this development and Montessori can give a child a chance to reach his or her God given potential. Montessori has enriched my knowledge base rooted in nursing, and allows the opportunity for me to support the children I am blessed to work with.”
