Biography

Kathy was born and raised in Mexico and grew up in a large family. In 2011, her love and care for children led her to the Au Pair program and she made Houston her new home.  Afterwards, she attended the University of Houston where she received her master’s degree in early childhood development. 

It wasn’t long before Kathy found out about Montessori and immediately fell in love with the philosophy. In 2017, she completed her AMI certification at the Houston Montessori Institute. To this day, Kathy believes a Montessori classroom provides the ideal environment for children to learn and grow, and she hopes to guide her students to become lifelong learners.

Kathy loves visiting her family in Mexico with her husband and two beautiful daughters.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, DIY projects, swimming, and all things outdoors.
