Calling all nature lovers! Grab your binoculars and join us for a Forest Detective Scavenger Hunt at the Houston Arboretum! Lead by SCM parent (and Arboretum Naturalist-in-training) Kelley Bruso, we'll meet up at Arboretum Nature Center and hike along the Innerloop trail (0.6 miles), keeping our eyes peeled for armadillos, woodpeckers, crawdads and more along the way. Healthy mid-morning snacks (and adventure packs) will be awaiting us mid-hike at the Meadow Deck — the perfect spot to relax, compare scavenger cards, and gaze out over the Meadow Pond. Everyone is welcome to continue with us on the trail back to the Nature Center or disperse and explore other trails.

Note: Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring water bottles.

Level: Primary, Lower Elementary (Open to Alumni, Alumni Parents) (Parents must accompany)
