St. Catherine's Montessori Breaks Ground for Campus Expansion

We are pleased to announce The Brown Foundation, Inc. has awarded St. Catherine's Montessori a $100,000 grant for the "Building on the Legacy" Capital Campaign.This is the second grant awarded to SCM from the foundation bringing their total contribution to $225,000.

We are pleased to announce that the Capital Campaign, "Building on the Legacy" has raised over $1.5 million in gifts and pledges toward our $5.275M goal to complete the funding for Phase I of the campus expansion project.
 
St. Catherine's Surpasses $1 Million Mark!

With the tremendous generosity and support from our St. Catherine's community, Capital Campaign "Building on the Legacy" surpasses the $1 Million dollar milestone at $1,080,750 with only a few finalized pledges remaining. Campaign progress can now be seen with the latest progress tracker display board in the Welcome Center. St. Catherine's thanks all those who have already contributed to the campaign in reaching our very first milestone!
 
Capital Campaign Launch Week:
September 8th – September 10th, 2014
All of the St. Catherine’s community including, former parents, alumni, board members, and current parents were invited to attend one of three launch presentation sessions that fully explained the Capital Campaign project “Building on the Legacy.” Special guests who attended included Co-Chairs of the previous Capital Campaign, John and Sara Hastings and St. Catherine’s foundress Sr. Edna Ann Hebert, O.P. As guests arrived they were able to reconnect with others whom they haven’t seen since the previous Capital Campaign. Many thanks goes out to our Co-Chairs, Deborah Gremillion and Kristina Devereux, who have put in many hours planning for the presentation to our community and our graphic design team Kimberly and Matthew Pacetti for their beautiful brochure, logo, and historic timeline that can be seen across the circling windows in the Welcome Center.

Faculty and Staff Presentation 
September 5th, 2014
Faculty and staff were invited to a presentation given of the Capital Campaign by Co-Chairs Deborah Gremillion and Kristina Devereux. The promotional video, “Our Mission is Clear,” was shown and faculty and staff were able to ask specific questions regarding the project following the presentation. 
 
Advisory Board Breakfast 
August 26th, 2014
St. Catherine’s held an Advisory Board Breakfast in the Gym that featured a welcome and prayer, from Susan Tracy Head of School, an overview from Nathaniel Martinez Board President on our Strategic Plan initiatives, and our Capital Campaign “Building on the Legacy” presentation given by Co-Chairs Deborah Gremillion and Kristina Devereux. The two phases of the project were presented along with the accompanying details of each. The event also premiered a promotional video titled “Our Mission is Clear,” which showcased to our community how far we have come from what others have established before us, who we are as a school, and what our mission is now to continue to build on the legacy. Following the presentation, guests were invited on a school tour given by Susan Tracy.
