Biography

Sharon is pursuing a degree in liberal arts. She has been with St. Catherine's for 16 years, serving as an assistant in Primary and Upper Elementary classrooms. Sharon comes from a family of six, including her wonderful parents, two older siblings, and her twin sister. She and her husband have a one-year-old son who will join the Infant Community in 2022. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys organizing, crafting, event decorating, cooking, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her little family. She also volunteers at Martha’s Kitchen where she helps prepare and serve hot, nutritious lunches to 300 hungry men, women, and children.

 

When asked what she like about Montessori and St. Catherine’s, Sharon says, “It is a different environment and I feel comfortable in it. I like the way it teaches children to be independent and have high self-esteem. I enjoy the friendly, caring relationships among the staff and families."
