Biography

Todd is a native Texan from the far side of the state. He grew up in the Texas Panhandle, and attended Oklahoma State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. After receiving his degree, he returned to school to get his certification to teach.

From there, Todd went on to work for a telecommunications company in Oklahoma. Over his 23 year career, he wore several hats in IT and in administration and management. The company evolved; what began as a local phone company and went on to become an Internet Service Provider and reseller, long haul fiber transport company, cable provider, and cloud storage company, to name a few.

Todd returned to Texas seven years ago to follow his passion to teach. He has taught a variety of subjects to a variety of age levels from 13-18. His experience includes teaching in a small rural school in the Texas Panhandle and larger urban schools in Austin and Houston. Todd holds eight State Educator Certifications and has completed the AMI Montessori 12-18 Orientation training. The focus of his passion has always been the development of the whole child into a responsible, moral, productive, and kind adult. For him, it is simply not just about the content but instead it is how we learn and grow as a complete individual.
