Biography

Ricardo is a native Houstonian and graduated from Lamar High School in 2013. Afterwards, Ricardo attended Sam Houston State University and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and a minor in education.

Apart from teaching and sharing his knowledge of health fitness and sports with his students, Ricardo is a huge Houston sports fan. He is especially a die-hard fan of professional soccer club, the Houston Dynamo. Ricardo enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and seeing new places, and trying out different cuisines.

Ricardo believes that PE is the perfect environment for students to learn sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance. Most importantly however, having fun!
