Jasmin has researched Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children and different types of therapies, including medication and behavior treatments. She will present pertinent information about her findings with a focus on the perspective of parents and teachers.

Mariano has researched the physiology of rock-climbing. His presentation will focus on the injuries associated with rock- climbing and the proper techniques to reduce these types of injuries while climbing.

Owen Uitenbroek wrote a thesis on the Late Cretaceous ecosystem of Hell Creek, a geological formation spanning portions of modern-day Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Owen has traveled to Hell Creek three times during his high school years, working alongside paleontologists in the field. His research summarizes the modern scientific understanding of the climate, flora and fauna of Late Cretaceous North America.

Developing an industry-level presentation for health sector employees, Isabella researched the benefits and limitations of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality applications in the health sector, including the metaverse. She participated in an internship opportunity with United Imaging where she gained valuable knowledge helpful to her presentation.

Combining her climate activist work with her desire to bring a voice to marginalized communities, Julia created a thesis on the air pollution levels found in the Houston-based community of Harrisburg/Manchester. Her work allowed her to create a report advocating for environmental justice and outlining ways that all Houstonians could help the air pollution issues surrounding Harrisburg/Manchester.

Following two high-profile criminal cases from the 1980s, Emma worked with her mentor to investigate the role DNA profiling has in forensics and these cases. Her thesis investigates the scientific principles used in understanding and using DNA profiling to convict perpetrators and exonerate the wrongfully convicted.

Taking a six-year interest in her characters and their development, Tesch enrolled in a professional online digital art course as part of her capstone work to hone her skills and improve on the current iterations of her characters. Tesch's capstone project involved her creating a 22-card Tarot deck using her characters to represent each of the major arcana along with artist statements explaining her artistic process.

Researching the role of humor in religion, Jacob looked to the Old and New Testaments for the myriad ways humor is incorporated into scripture. His capstone project was a prepared speech on his research, drawing from the public speaking course he took at the University of St. Thomas.

Incorporating her love of cooking, writing, and photography, Vittoria created a food blog for her capstone project. Her website, Little Boot's Kitchen, is a collection of her recipes and highlights her cooking, writing, and photography work. In lieu of putting on a live, in-person, art showcase, Sarah curated a website archiving all of her work from photography to watercolor and from sculptures to set- design pieces. In an effort for the audience to understand her design and thought process, Sarah's video takes you on a journey through her artwork.

Taking his deep-rooted passion for naval doctrine, Jackson researched naval logistics, ship design, and political influences. In his video essay, Jackson shares his research along with the model ships he built helping his audience visualize the breadth of a naval carrier group.
