Jenny holds a B.S. in Art Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, an AMI Primary Training certificate from the Houston Montessori Institute, and will soon complete her M.Ed. from Loyola University in Maryland.
Prior to coming to St. Catherine’s, Jenny worked as a Mental Health Associate and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist at the Menninger Clinic and as a Behavior Therapist at the Verbal Behavior Clinic of Houston.
Jenny and her husband David are parents to Jackson (Lower Elementary) and Quinn (Primary). She enjoys making homemade jam, going to museums, traveling, swimming, architecture, and design.
Jenny believes that “Montessori is such a simple, beautiful way of living and exploring the world. It is about much more than education. It is a mechanism for creating respect, understanding, and peace in the world. I love that the Montessori Method recognizes that each child has an inner teacher and allows him to develop and follow that force from within”.
