Welcome back to the High School Corner!

The college search is a monumental part of everyone’s high school experience. Last week, we volunteered at the annual Catholic High Schools College Fair held at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.

As the 200+ university representatives arrived, we, along with students from other Catholic high schools, led them to their booths. Each of us was able to interact with multiple representatives on a personal level, learn about the institution they represented, and tell them about ourselves and the SCM High School. It was exciting to introduce ourselves and our school to the representatives, and many attendees complimented our helpful attitudes, articulate manner of speaking, and mature conduct.

Another component of the evening was that each sponsoring high school set up tables in the hall where the representatives had dinner. In addition to information about our school, the SCM tables featured gifts of handcrafted soap and honey from the Adolescent Community. We were proud to represent our school and look forward to volunteering at this event in the years to come!
