Celebrating with Our Seniors: Early Action Decisions

St. Catherine’s and our 12th grade students have much to be joyful about.  Colleges and universities have begun sending out notifications for Early Action/ Early Decision acceptances.  Early Action is a non-binding acceptance where both the student and the school have indicated a high interest.  Early Decision is binding and with acceptance comes a commitment to attend.  These are the schools that our students have already been accepted to:

Goucher College

Hendrix College

Juniata College

Rice University

Southwestern University

St. Edward’s University

Trinity University

Willamette University

All of the students have received merit scholarship awards already totaling $730,000 over four years!

This is quite an impressive list of schools and awards for our first 3 graduates.  The Class of 2020 and their parents are to be commended for their courage to be trailblazers as our first graduating class.  They knew they were thriving at St. Catherine’s as high school approached and wanted to continue their development at SCM.  We celebrate the success of these students!

One of the most important decisions we have as parents is to decide about the best educational experiences for our children.  The Montessori approach is more than just a college prep, it is a preparation for life.  Our graduating students clearly embody the characteristics we identify as a portrait of a graduate and are ready to embrace all that life brings them.  They have discovered what they are passionate about and are ready to change the world.

Let’s celebrate our blessings and rejoice together about the formation of this new humanity!
