Britt Hawthorne Virtual Presentation

The goals of this family and community presentation are to dismantle the color-blind assumption and prepare children to work toward justice. This presentation shares concrete ways families can support their children’s developing racial and ethnic identities. Families learn how to empower their children, affirm their numerous identities, and accept differences. 

St. Catherine's is pleased to welcome Ms. Hawthorne and offer this presentation for our families as a follow-up to her Introduction to Anti-bias Education interactive workshop, which many of our faculty and staff members attended virtually in November. 

The presentation is open to St. Catherine's current parents, guardians, grandparents, faculty and staff, and board members. Adolescent Community and High School students are welcome to attend with their parents/guardians
