Parents, caregivers, and school staff who know NeuroWhereAbouts understand phases of brain development and they shape executive functioning skills accordingly. Dr. Crystal Collier, author of The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide, will define brain-based parenting and how to easily integrate brain-savvy prevention skills into daily practice. In this presentation, Dr. Collier will describe the prevention science principles that work to increase youth skills and prevent engagement in high-risk behavior such as technology overuse and video game addiction.
The event will be held on Thursday, March 30 at 12:00 PM in the SCM gym and will include lunch. It is open to all of our St. Catherine's families and friends.
