In remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love for all creatures, families are invited to bring pets on a leash or in a carrier to be blessed at school. If you are unable to bring your pet, your child may bring a picture instead. If you arrive with your pet before 8:45 a.m., please wait in the Dominican Peace Garden. We want to give Primary children, who may be excited or anxious around animals, space to arrive in their usual manner. Bags will be available for you to pick up your pet's waste should you need them. The ceremony will last about 15 minutes, and pets must be taken home immediately following.
