Book: Excellent Sheep: The Miseducation of the American Elite and the Way to a Meaningful Life 

Author:  William Deresiewicz. 

Summary: The author, a former Yale professor, presents his indictment of America's university system -- including its intellectual conformity, career-prep emphasis, and admissions mess. We hope it will give us lots of food for thought about where our kids are headed academically and how a Montessori high school experience might immunize our students against some of the professor's concerns.
