Tuition & Affordability
Our foundresses, Sr. Edna Ann Hebert, O.P. and Sr. Shirley Owens, O.P., believed that a St. Catherine’s education should be within reach for families from all walks of life. This belief continues to guide us today. As a Catholic Montessori school, we see education as spiritual mission to unleash the inner potential of every child—and we want this opportunity to be accessible to as many families as possible.
For this reason, maintaining affordability is a choice rooted in our school mission and a value we hold dear. We are proud to offer an exceptional Catholic Montessori education while remaining mindful of the financial realities families face.
Tuition Assistance
If you would like to apply for consideration in the first round of applications for the Archdiocese's tuition assistance program for the 2027-2028 school year, the FACTS application will open December 2026 and is due in March 2027. (The application will use the information from your 2025 federal tax return.)
This application also automatically applies you for the St. Catherine's Tuition Assistance Program.
We also participate in the Texas Education for All (TEFA) program for eligible families. The school reserves the right to modify or reduce tuition assistance when a student receives TEFA funding or any other third-party educational funding.
From the very beginning, we wanted to help children who had never had the opportunity.
Sr. Shirley Owens, O.P.
