Tuition Policy 2012-2013

  1. Tuition and any applicable  fees  are due and payable on or before on July 1, 2012.

  2. If you would like to be considered for either the 3 installment plan or the 9 installment plan, you must submit a credit application.  Your prior payment experience with the school will be reviewed.  First time credit applicants will be billed a credit application fee of $50.00 to cover the cost of a credit report.  You will be notified promptly of your credit status.

  3. The tuition payment plans for those awarded credit are as follows (All fees are still due on 7/1/2012):

    1. Three equal tuition payments due 7/1/2012, 10/1/2012, 1/1/2013
    2. Nine equal  tution payments due on the first day of each month July, 2012 through March, 2013.

  4. Both payment plans include interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum.

  5. Any family in need is encouraged to submit an application for scholarship help.  Please complete the PSAS application form found online at www.stcathmont.org under the Parents tab on the left listed as PSAS Student Aid Form.  The deadline for submitting a scholarship application is March 19, 2012.

  6. Tuition is payable by personal check, cashier’s check, money order or bank draft.  Returned checks will incur a $35 fee.  When two checks are returned marked as insufficient funds, future payments will be required to be made by money order.

  7. Tuition unpaid by the tenth day of the month in which it is due is considered delinquent and collection procedures will be pursued.  Late payments will affect the ability to finance tuition in the future.  If tuition becomes 90 days or more delinquent the financing arrangement is considered breached and the balance of the school year’s tuition will become due and payable immediately.

  8. Families with more than one child enrolled in the school will receive a tuition discount of 10% for each younger sibling(s).

  9. No school records or teacher recommendations/evaluations will be forwarded to other schools until all past due tuition amounts have been paid in full.

  10. All exceptions to the tuition payment policy must be approved by the Board of Directors.
