Religious Education
Children’s spiritual lives are formed by building their own unique relationship with God through the work of their hands and the joyful prayer of their hearts. This relationship is built through a program for the spiritual formation of the children, “The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd”. The Catechesis uses the Montessori Method to help children explore the riches of the biblical and liturgical heritage and tradition. The Atrium, the beautiful room where this takes place is a retreat house for children where they come weekly to pray, work and study as they listen deeply to God.
With sensitivity toward and appreciation of the many great faith traditions, St. Catherine’s encourages families to share their beliefs and practices.
