The Metamorphosis Ball

St. Catherine’s Montessori’s 40th Anniversary Metamorphosis Ball was an overwhelming success. Held January 27th at The Corinthian, the Ball raised well over $150,000 and more than 400 people attended.
The event honored Houstonians Odis and Carol Peavy as well as Michael and Lynne Morris. It was also a grand celebration of St. Catherine’s 40-year history. School founders, Sr. Edna Ann Hebert, O.P., and Sr. Shirley Owens each received honorary proclamations from Mayor Bill White.
Founded in 1966, St. Catherine's Montessori is Houston’s only Catholic Montessori serving students ages 14 mos. to 15 years. It is also home to the St. Catherine's Montessori Reading Center, which provides specialized literacy instruction to children throughout Houston, free of charge.
