Shaira Lallani
Shaira is originally from Pakistan where she attended the University of Karachi and received her BA degree in Special Education & Child Development and Psychology in 1979. Shairia also received her AMI diploma in 1977 in Pakistan.
Shairia has 29 years of Montessori teaching experience both in Houston and California and she has also been a trainer for the National Children’s Montessori Center.
As well as being the youngest child in a family of seven, Shaira has two adult children who live in California. In her spare time she enjoys reading.
When asked about Montessori, Shaira responds, “I like Montessori because it helps the child to develop high self-esteem and to become independent, caring and self-confident citizens of the world”.
