Ly Thompson
Ly received a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communications from Gonzaga University. She is currently finishing her Master of Education through Loyola University Maryland. Ly earned her elementary AMI certification in May 2011 from the Washington Montessori Institute.
In the past Ly has been a barista, taste tester, bartender, bookkeeper, nanny, caterer, photographer, electrician, home remodeler , and an ESL(English as a second language) teacher!
Ly and her husband have two children – Jack who just graduated from high school and is moving to Seattle and Lily who will be joining our Adolescent Community. She has been a staunch Montessori supporter for 14 years.
Ly’s comments about Montessori are – “There is a consciousness and humanity that is inherent in Dr. Montessori’s theology that I believe resonates a universal trait that is natural for children.”
