Laurie Farris
Laurie has a BA in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She also has her primary diploma from A.M.I.
Laurie has worked at St. Catherine’s Montessori since 1995 as the Librarian and now as the Director of Admissions. Before that she was a stay at home mom for many years with lots of volunteer hours at St. Catherine’s. Her earlier work experience involved working in the hotel business at the Hyatt Downtown and the Houstonian.
In her spare time Laurie enjoys reading, gardening, swimming, and cooking. Laurie and her husband Anthony have 3 children all who have attended St. Catherine’s through the Upper School.
