Patient teaching has been at the core of every nursing job she has had and she began working in Montessori as an after school care coordinator at Bay Area Montessori House. She then moved from this position to an assistant in an All Day Montessori classroom.
Jennifer and her husband Nate (who works as a consultant at NASA), have two boys Jackson and Owen. In her spare time, which she does not have much of; Jennifer enjoys making her own jewelry and reading.
“The best part about Montessori for me is that it produces an environment that supports the normal growth and development of the child. In today’s society many things thwart this development and Montessori can give a child a chance to reach his or her God given potential. Montessori has enriched my knowledge base rooted in nursing, and allows the opportunity for me to specifically support the child from conception to age 6, and generally support the child until he has reached adulthood.”
