Jim Dubay
Jim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas. He has had a fifteen year career of teaching students ranging in age from third grade through college. He also had an outstanding career as a Captain with the Houston Fire Department for 25 years.
Jim and his wife Bren have been associated with St. Catherine’s since 1981, first as active volunteers, and eventually as teachers. Jim moved from the classroom to the bookkeeping office and Bren began our Middle School in 1997. They have 3 adult children who all attended St. Catherine’s.
In his spare time Jim enjoys gardening, home repair and taking the dog to the dog park.
Jim’s comments about Montessori – “I especially enjoy the way the students are treated as complete human beings, competent in many things.”
