Claire Yabraian
Claire received her BA in International Development and Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, Cantebury. She received her AMI Montessori Assistants to Infancy training in Colorado in 2000 and then followed that with a Masters in Education from Loyola College in Maryland in 2001. Claire has worked at The Post Oak School, as well as St. Andrew’s School in the Heights where she helped establish their new Montessori program by starting and leading their older Toddler Community. For the past two years, Claire has served as a Children’s Library Assistant for the Harris County Public Library.
Claire grew up in Houston and actually attended St. Catherine’s Montessori when it was Dominican Montessori. She also has a strong interest in supporting families through the adventure of childbirth, and to this end she has recently completed a Doula training course through DONA international.
Claire and her husband share their home with two charming and hilarious cats, and are thrilled to be joining the wonderful and welcoming community of St. Catherine’s.
