Cynthia Jones
Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Dance, with a minor in Biology from Sam Houston State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Sam Houston State University. Cynthia received her Montessori diploma from the Houston Montessori Center.
Cynthia taught at St. Stephens Montessori for 13 years. She has also taught P.E. and had a dance company where she taught professional choreography. She has been an Upper Elementary teacher at St. Catherine’s since 1998.
In her spare time Cynthia enjoys drawing, yoga, going to the beach, hiking and reading. Cynthia and her husband Don have 2 children.
Her comments about Montessori are - “I love the creativity that the Montessori lessons involve and the intimacy developed through the three year span.”
