Cynthia Blessman
Cynthia graduated cum laude from Birmingham Southern College with a B.A. in Religion. She received her American Montessori Society certification from the Montessori Teacher Academy at Edison Lakes through Indiana University at South Bend. Cynthia received her Association Montessori International diploma from the A.M.I. Institute in St. Louis and her Masters in Education from Loyola in Maryland.
Cynthia has been a teacher at St. Catherine’s since 1994.
Cynthia and her husband Jon, a faculty member at St. Thomas High School have 2 daughters, Erica and Rachel, both alumni of St. Catherine’s. She also has 2 cats and a beagle named Holly. In her spare time she enjoys water sports and spending time with her extended family at Lake Livingston.
When asked what she loves about Montessori she says,” Montessori is the best”.
