Amy Hickl
Amy received her BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, with honors. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her Masters in Education from Loyola College in Baltimore and her AMI Montessori Primary Level Diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute in Baltimore, MD.
Amy has been a teacher assistant at St. Catherine’s as well as a primary teacher at Dodson Elementary. She has been a primary teacher here at St. Catherine’s Montessori since 2002.
Her hobbies include swimming, yoga and reading.
Amy’s comments on what she loves about Montessori -“I was a Montessori child from ages 2-6 and I am very grateful for the love of learning and sense of wonder that I have developed in those years. I love coming to work everyday and seeing these gifts grow in my students.”
