Nearly 300 friends, families and guests gathered at St. Catherine's Montessori on February 5th, as it hosted the "Around the World Auction: A Culinary and Cultural Celebration” .  The school was transformed with decorations and artifacts from Africa, Japan, Korea, the Middle East, China and many other locations.  Guests enjoyed foods from around the world and heard live drumming from Kuumba House and Mariaches from HSPVA.  The Live Auction was a blast with dueling bidders, and folks really enjoyed sharing desserts from the Dessert Auction with their table guests and friends. Dollar totals are still being tallied, and more will be known about how much was raised in support of St. Catherine's in the next few days.  By all accounts, the event was a tremendous success thanks to chairs Sandra Wager and Gretchen Penny, too many volunteers to name, and you, for donating auction items, purchasing tickets/tables, and for bidding high and often.
